About the Event
Join Michelle Dalbec and Liza Bertini, Co-Founders of the Thread Yoga Collective for this sacred summer getaway!
During the week of the Summer solstice, a time that represents the transition from action to nourishment, it is a perfect time to pause, reflect, and nurture ourselves. As the Sun helps us transition from darkness to light, the Summer reminds us that there is hope in the world, and that our light within can spread and inspire others. As yoga teachers it is important to refill our well, be inspired, and find meaning in our journey in order to be the light for others.
Enjoy blissful days filled with yoga, meditation, healthy organic meals, inspiration, time for reflection, journaling, hiking, swimming in the Sapphire Pool, and self-care. The sacred time we share together will quiet the mind, awaken the senses, and invigorate the soul!
With tranquil nights, glorious spacious days, and views of beautiful moonlit mountains, Menla will amaze you with its simple, joyful and rejuvenating power.
Stay in a range of deluxe accommodations or shared cabins set in fragrant woods and gardens with murmuring streams and trails nearby. Menla’s wellness cuisine is centered around healing foods, sourced primarily from the Menla garden and local farms with an eye toward seasonal and organic fruits, vegetables, grains, and legumes.
Experience Menla
Menla is a 330-acre private nature reserve. Sitting at the head of a breathtaking glacial valley, it’s one of the most beautiful parts of the Catskills. A truly unique venue and a project of Tibet House US – the Dalai Lama’s cultural center in North America – Menla is a modern resort and destination spa surrounded by thousands of acres of unspoiled wilderness. Inspired by the ancient Buddhist kingdom of Tibet, we strive to keep alive knowledge handed down for centuries. Experience Menla’s unique wellness facilities. From the Dewa Spa to fully equipped yoga and movement spaces, fitness room, and hiking trails, there’s so much to do. Immerse yourself in the magic of our pristine mountain forests. Explore hiking trails, encounter wildlife, and discover a rich tapestry of wellness experiences and activities.
